Hamburger, I also liked Ronda very much. That bridge is certainly distinctive. You know, I suppose, that the engineer/designer fell to his death from that bridge while reaching for his hat? And that Ronda has evidence of some of the earliest Celtic inhabitants?
I think the bullring's claim to fame (besides the Hemingway connection) is that it is the
oldest round bullring. I also remember those roads as hair-raising, however the Pacific NW has similarly high-scaling routes, see below that offer the full range of moutainous road fear. These old crumbly rock walls give only the illusion of safety. I have stood just here and looked down... down... down. It is unsettling.
