Eastern Europe? I will say this:
"This country was and still mostly is referred as Eastern Europe, but, personally, I wouldn't call it Eastern Europe in geographical terms" (although if you draw line through the middle of Europe it is on "eastern" side)

Spendius - This were not just wild guesses. Take a look on these places and find why this was told. It would be easier with Gravina di Puglia, though.
