Yes you are right it's the dome from the 1967 world fair in Montreal. Built to house the U.S. pavilion at the 1967 World Fair, it is now called the Biosphere and it has numerous interactive presentations designed to promote the importance of water resources.

It was also used by Robert Altman for filming his movie Quintet.
