makes sense, Mac and Fe..
Fe, that was what my dad called his brother, many years ago and far away, short for Felix.
Googling is fine in this game. I think its fine to guess even if you've been there, work there or live next door!
I'll leave that up to the individual guessers.
We talked about the possibility of peeking and getting a link to the picture. I think that's not fair. Since some players aren't capable of hiding a link or disguising the name in the link we need use the honor system when it comes to that. If at all possible, hide the link or use your own pictures and disguise any referance to the name of the place. Other than that, all's fair!
Is it John Cabot's "The Matthew"? in Bristol, England?
Since Margo isn't around fealola I don't think she'll mind me telling you it's noy "the matthew"
Was this ship an English Ship?
Margo. you are right, when younger I did carve -in runic letters- my name in the underside of the ancient ship.
It's on the Vasa Museum, in Stockholm, Sweden.
But she said it's in the UK!

Is this a reproduction?
It's not against the rules to say where it is if you happen to know as I did with this one, I just didn't want to spoil it for someone who may have been googlin like a good un.
Since it's been out there for 22 hours, I'm thinking that googling isn't working...
Is it in the southern hemisphere, in particular, Australia? (No sea in W W Woop is there?)
Our friend, Mr Scrat, has it correct.
It's the Vasa, the wonder ship of the Swedish navy, which was so over designed and top heavy that it sailed from the dock and tipped over straight away, somewhere in the 1600's, I thing.
It's in the Vasamuseet, Stockholm. Sweden
(think holidays!) - sorry -I didn't think it'd be that difficult - but now I remember that I'd never heard of it before I went to Sweden
This is a place I haven't visited.
