I cannot locate it through net search yet.
If it is not in Pokhala then it must be in Kathmandu, I think,..
satt_fs, You done good. It's really one of the best places in the world to visit; it's a city-museum that showcases the arts and crafts of centuries past. It's an amazing place, and I sincerely hope you can visit one day.
BTW, the picture I posted is just one of the palace doors. I have never seen anything like it before or since.
After the horrible tsunami, I am inclined to higher places.
(Avalance is also the water, though..)
You'll be safe in the foothills of the Himalayas.

We stayed at a resort hotel called the Fort Resort in Nargakot. Just beautiful looking at the mountains and watching the sunsets and sunrises. I'll post one of my favorite pictures of the hotel in a few minutes.
This one was taken from my room. I had a bottle of vodka, and some people joined me at one of those tables to have a few.
Okay, sat_fs, post your pic.
I hear, Nepal has famous local brew.. named "Chang" or..
I always drink the local brew, but don't remember a "Chang..."
Or it may be called "Roxi."
I can barely remember names of a few people I have met on my tours. Trying to remember the names of all the different brews I've consumed is impossible. One of the few exception is a beer in Namibia, because it's named after it's capitol, Windhoek. It's my understanding that the brewery was built by Germans, and one of the better native brews.
<ci, I have a photo for you to see on the WA2k thread..>
Looks pretty isolated. Can it be close to one of the two poles?
ossobuco has already posted a hint in the WA2k thread..
