hee-hee! (I'm sorry. That seems a funny question to a Michigan native.) Yes. You mean as opposed to the Canada side? Michigan is obviously a big mitten. The way we explain it is: Put up your left hand, palm-side down ,or right hand palm-side up, (thumb to the right, obviously). Clear as mud?
The place you're looking at is in the upper "pinky" area.

Thank you, Clary & cj - To c.i. - forgive me. Maybe you meant the Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan? I guess I was just 'how-can-I-say" - "state-centric"?!

Is it my turn? If so, someone else can go ahead. Don't know how much more Ill be able to be on tonight. Gotta get dinner!

I agree, Clary. But where in Russia? It's obviously a church or cathedral. Is it very famous?

Note: Cicerone has not confirmed this is Russia, although he is allowing us to believe that. It may be any orthodox Christian area; or even the US- note the English language t-shirt.

Cicerone- do you confirm this is Russia?

Equus, Very good! I have seen those onion topped cathedrals in other countries other than Russia. That's the reason I purposely left the people in the foreground in; an attempt to confuse. However, the one in the picture is in Russia. Wink
