kev, Good hunting! Congrats.
Kev is right, that's Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls, Michigan. Biggest hill in the state.

CI I didn't know you had snow in Calif.?
is that George Washington somewhere -
or maybe James Cook?
Or Arthur Phillip?
No - I think it's James Cook in Whitby!
Captain Cook
Chased a chook
All around Australia
He jumped the fence
And laid an egg
And they called it Tasmania!
Kev. I live near LA and I can see snow on the mountains from my neighborhood. We are less than an hour from skiing.!
We get more snow in California than just about anywhere on earth. Just not on the coast. The Sierra Nevada is currently buried. The snow depth at Carson Pass is 185 inches, which is 15.5 feet, or about 5 meters.
kev, As fealola has already explained, yes, we have snow in California. The Sierra Nevada Mountain Range has many winter resorts for skiing. The winter olympics were once held in California.
Kev we like to brag here, that you can ski in the morning and go surfing in the afternoon!-- On the same day!
I always thought of Calif as being permanently hot, shows what I know.
This close up shows what Margo knows,
Sheeesh! I knew those geography lessons would pay off soon.
Captain James Cook, attributed (here and in UK)with the discovery of Australia, 1770, despite the fact that aborigines had been here already 40,000 years, and the Dutch dropped in regularly, from the East Indies, particularly to the west coast, and the French were here, and countless Melanesians.
Tasmania - small island to the south of mainland Australia - butt of several vulgar jokes!
Location of this place- Africa?
My guess would be a museum ... in Europe.
V&A museum by any chance?
I'm rather sure, I would have noticed that, c.i., a couple of weeks ago
Yes, museum in Europe. I suspect Walter knows, but.....
What museum and what is this pic! (my own photos of this are not as clear!)
Margo, I've just come across this by absolute blind chance, Walter should get it.
