This is a paper written by Nils J. Nilsson of the artificial intelligence center. It was written in 1984 and published in AI magazine. It's about the debate on how the developments in artificial intelligence will change the economic landscape of our society, and ways to adapt to these changes. It's a relatively long read, so be advised if you have a short attention span.

I would appreciate the thoughts of everyone who chooses to read the entire paper, and please don't give me your thoughts if you don't read the entire paper. Tell me what you think the solution could or should be to artificial intelligence and its likely economic consequences.
