I wonder if Women are females or persons (human beings)???

Isn't a woman synonymous with an adult female person or an adult female human being?

It has to do with categories. You could also ask the question: is a rooster a male or a chicken? Is a puppy a juvenile or a dog? It's both.

Paul, maybe I express my thoughts not clearly. But I wanted to ask a provocative question in order to realize what is your attitude to women. Some Russian “thinkers” say that Woman is a Man’s Friend. It means that Woman with their emotions & sensitivity are differ from the Man. Dog is a Man's friend. And Woman too:)) When I said that Women are females (animals) I try to stress that they really differing.... This question connects with another one.

Animal and Man. Their attitude. Who have more power and nobility??? Each kind of Animals never kill similar to him. And there are a lot of argumentsthat animal is more deserving inhabitant of our planet.

I try to realise the essence of Woman in order to go on to the next question, such as "What is a Man???" and "What is his predestination???"

Do you think they're using this expression "woman is a man's friend" to make women seem more like societal equals to men? Or are they using it to mean a 'lesser companion' like a dog?

Having been to Russia, by the way, my impression is that women are by far the dominant force there. I can't speak for Belarus, but in Moscow and in St. Petersburg, whoa. Those old ladies in the corners at the museums can kill with an angry glance!

Anyway, being the exisentialist-sympathizer that I am, I'm not keen on exploring the 'essence of women' as you've phrased it in the original post. I think that by and large we are what we make of ourselves.

Obviously there are some basic physiological differences between man and woman, but we are as Adies pointed out, the same species and therefore more alike than different. Both genders compliment eachother by bringing thier own special qualities. Not to say that one is better than the other but to say that life would be miserable if either one was removed! They are different but equal value.


Animals kill thier same kind all the time. The idea that animals are more diserving of the planet is hard for me to think about because I do not seperate man from animals. The planet belongs to whoever or whatever can best survive


Man as in male, or man as in mankind? Predestination? I don't belive in predestination or destiny. We become what we desire to become and are able to become, and nothing more.

I see value in matriarcal societies.
