Someone just sent me this....


If the following is:
2 + 5 = 10
6 + 3 = 63
5 + 6 = 66
8 + 4 = 96

Then what is:

9 + 7 = ??

I think you need to verify the numbers, because there's a similar riddle floating around that has slightly different numbers.

2+3=10
7+2=63
6+5=66
8+4=96

9+7=?

This is straightforward - add the numbers, then multiply the result by the first number.
2(2+3) = 10
7(7+2) = 63
etc.

If the numbers in your puzzle are correct, then I haven't the foggiest.

The answer is 58. Don't ask me to explain - it's complicated.

No, it's 144.

The email had an attachment that was password protected, that if the answer was used, it would open.

It opened on 144.

a+b= a(a+b) is correct.
