@Region Philbis,
Wow ... Josh Reddick - yet another dangerous-legitimate-threat-bat in their line-up. Even Salty is hitting (except for a ridiculous amout of strikeouts). This just shows you that winning and team hitting streaks are contagious.

@Region Philbis,
What? Saturday and Sunday weren't good enough for you?

(By the way, how'd you like to take Sabathia and Girardi and Rivera off our hands)

@Region Philbis,
Except he doesn't seem to have any ability at Fenway....think of all the games he'd never play, the happy times as your stats drop lower and lower. But, you want him, he's yours along with Rivera who seems to have lost his focus.

(it's been a rough season for me)

@Region Philbis,
Yes, hopefully the lowly team from Boston will have used all their energies and will still be all tuckered out at our next meeting.

The Red Soxs Nation has got to thank A.J. Burnett for being with the Yanks.

Man, he's actually worse than Lackey!

@Region Philbis,
any ideas on why Theo put C. Crawford out on the waiver wire?

@Rockhead,
Quote:
Like the flocking of the salmon to Capistrano, an annual baseball event is the name of a high-profile star's position
on the secret waiver wire being leaked and everyone freaking out until reminded in even quicker fashion that most
teams place a good portion of their rosters on the waiver. Since the move is revocable — GMs can either pull back
the player, work out a trade with the claiming team within 48 hours or simply let the player go to the new squad
without compensation — it's a nice way for GMs to stay busy and judge the trade market for the players on their roster.

@Rockhead,

it's a weird practice -- if i was a player, i'd be worried if my GM put me on waivers...

the general consensus up heeyuh is carl gets a free pass this year, because he's not hurting the team.
but he has certainly heard his share of fenway boo's...
