I'm not sure when (what date) the data was compiled but its a start.

Of course i am not up with all the rules and regulations in regard to immigration but i believe it is possible to get a visa if you have a sponsor. Usually a sponsor will guarentee a job.
You should write to companies (in any state including the ones you were rejected for) involved in the pharma field directly with your resume and ask if they have a position and would be willing to sponsor you.
