rescued a goldfish, need info

someone flushed a goldfish, and my husband found it at work (sewer authority) we have had it now in a 10 gal tank for 5 days, it is alone in the tank and has been, today there are 100's of eggs all over the tank, no males around, what to do now? how soon do I clean out the tank because obviously they will not be fertilized.
