I got this watch and on the band it says china on it why

ok so i buy and collect some digital watches and on the band they say china on em and i dont know why why is this ???

I can't think of any other reason. China makes a lot of watches. Sometimes I try and find things not made in China and it takes me a long time.

Many countries have import laws that require that a product be marked with the country it was made in. If your watch was made in Australia it would say Australia.

It means the watch BAND was made in china, if it says "China" on the band. The watch could have been made somewhere else --it'll say on the watch, usually on the back of the case or on the dial, often below the 6. China seems to be making a lot of cheap watchbands lately.
