am40ct and 10x54 carbon tank both with a-8 brass valve

I read in one of the postings that there is a conversion kit to a new style valve, can you provide any information on the new valves, my situation is one where my water had 22PPM H2S and 1100 ppm TDS the H2S and the bleach have been rough on the brass and i would like to update to something other then brass
