I went to the local Verizon store today hoping to at least TOUCH the display model and see it. Guess what? It ain't there! Although it was "launched" days ago, there is no floor model until Friday the 6th when we can actually buy the thing. A shame we don't get to play with it early. Thanks a LOT vzw :mad:

Do you have other choices as to a VZW store to go to? If so, you might want to call ahead and/or ask for the manager, as there are several ppl around the country whom have been able to go to their VZW store and handle a Droid. And sometimes, they do have to talk to the manager about it first.

Note that they are using the Droid to showcase this new app.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, here'sthe leaked user guide that doesn't seem to be in the box that the early reviewers received, at least I haven't seen it in any of the unboxing vids. This should answer alot of questions about the hardware, etc. of this new phone.
