poem in the late 90's by Virginia Hamilton Adair

poem published in NY Times - ostensibly about a weed - contains lines "My seeds shall survive me; they will rest their elbows on the green pulpits of summer" - ending is along the lines of "Give thanks and praise forever sunlight, rain, earth and air."
