Help!

I just posted a question about the wisdom of buying a computer flat panel display via the Internet, and asked for people's experiences with that kind of Internet purchase. But the post was bounced back with the messaage that "the topic does not exist, or has been moved to a restricted area" ????

I thought it was a pretty clean and simple-minded query. Confused

Is this just a technical glitch, or did I goof in some odd way? Confused

Odd, the thread is where you left it ( see here ) and there are a number of things that you coulda done to cause that error message, but not knowing what you might have done means I can't say for sure.

In any case, your thread is alive and well.

Just to give you a clue a couple of the things you coulda done to produce that error message are:

Try to reply to an individual post that was deleted by the author.

Try to call the reply page with an incorrect variable (e.g. your thread is 14036 but if somehow you sent the variable "14" to the posting page you'd get that error as thread 14 doesn't exist).

Anywho, let us know if it happens again.

Thanks for all your responses. I feel better.

Now I just have to get some good responses to the original post.
