Great Older Films on Blu-Ray

Last night I had a real treat. I watched "North by Northwest" on Blu-Ray. Although the film was made in 1959, it was made in VistaVision, and transfers wonderfully to Blu-Ray. Besides that, it is one fabulous movie. It was not the first time that I had seen it, and I suspect, not the last.

O.K. Cary Grant is 55 at the time, and his "mother", played by Jesse Royce Landis, is 63, but that was Hollywood in the fifties. It is at once a thriller, and funny and sophisticated. Cary Grant is amazing. It is one of Hitchcock's masterpieces. Check it out.

Has anyone else seen an older film on Blu-Ray that is worth a look?
