Ideas for a sort-of military sounding phrase using "9"?

@tsarstepan,
Thanks for the miliary alphabet!

Mo now wants to be called Kilo Bravo.

His friends Bravo Tango and Whiskey Kilo love it too but Juliete Charlie isn't too happy.

If you are looking for more of an authentic feel to a military shirt, how most units do it is they have a small patch on the front over the left breast usually and then have either the same symbol but larger on the back or something a along the same lines but different on the back.

@boomerang,
Render unto Charlie that which is Charlie's.

(The Juliette Charlie/Julius Caesar similarity caught my eye. And yes, I know it's the wrong Caesar.)

There is no telling what kids will take a shine to -- we have radioactive signs all over our house. The one on the front door kind of freaks people out!

Seed! That's exactly where I put the patch!

I was going to put something across the back but rumor has it that things glow under the blacklights at the lazertag joint and it would ruin their "sniper opportunites".

Plus, these are just mom-made iron on transfer shirts so anything too elaborate is beyond my ability. My test shirt turned out okayish. Luckily kids don't notice such things.

I wanted to have some challenge coins made but Mr. B put the brakes on that idea.

@sozobe,
In aust soldiers sometimes say "jingo charlie" if that helps.
It came from "by jingo" which is probably close to "by gum" in meaning.

By jingo it's hot today. By jingo it rained last night.

@sozobe,
I chuckled at that one too! Laughing
(Should probably let that boy pick a different name... middle initial maybe? Favorite nickname?)

Jingo sounds cool. White lie time?

Let's hope they don't become "tango uniform".

Thank you all so much for your helpl -- the T-shirts were a HUGE success. I can't begin to tell you how many comments I got on them from the kids, the staff at the lazer tag joint, and the customers of the place.

If I ever want to go into the T-shirt business I know where to go for help.

The party was wonderful!!

One of Mo's friends told me "this is the best day of my life" (and then went on to tell me he had never been to a birthday party before -- except for that time when he was in foster care, and that that party wasn't too fun) (the things you learn.......) (which brings up a question I need to ask when I have some energy).

When the whole thing was over Mo cried about it being over.

But it was a good kind of cry.

Thanks for helping me make it special.

@Seed,
Huh?

The party is over so I guess that's the final "image".

Ohhh... you meant was the final image what I printed on the shirts?

Yes. There was an additional patch on the sleeve.

After I had made them all I started thinking I should have put "Activated" instead of "Deployed" but that's okay.....

@boomerang,
Boomer, here 's a late Birthday present for Mo,
in keeping with his interest, as u indicated.
(I snagged it from Gungasnake.)

U can take him to the movies for his birthday (Mo, not Gungasnake).

The movie has quite an ending.
Its a suspenseful HORROR movie lasting about a minute, with a terrorist.

There is one point on which I 'm in doubt,
which is that the movie is near a few ads
with some scantily clad young ladies that possibly
u might wish Mo to avoid. I dunno. (Maybe show it to him in ten years.)

Take a look at it first, and use your best judgment:

(The movie screen is over on the LEFT side.)
