Star Trek LED DIY Boldly Goes Where No Menorah Has Gone Before

http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/4/2009/12/500x_startrekpezmenorah.jpg

It's almost time for Hanukkah, and what better way to celebrate the Festival of Lights than with Kirk, Spock, Scotty and the the gang? The answer is none. There is no better way.

If you want to make your own, all you'll need are some Star Trek Pez heads, a Deluxe LED Menorah Kit, and a healthy disregard for tradition. In keeping with the holiday spirit, couldn't they have made room for Khan?

@djjd62,
For consistency Chanukkah either starts with a "C" or starts with an "H." Being Jewish in a Christian country may have enough problems, without adding the spelling of Jewish holidays. And, the "k's" should remain constant in all spellings.

And to all a good night!

@djjd62,
What is the first candle supposed to be? Is it the Enterprise? It's kind of hard to tell with the photograph?

@tsarstepan,
yeah, it's sort of a top down angle view of the enterprise, not sure what the blob is supposed to be, a galactic cloud of some kind

The absolute worst Star Trek movie was where they searched for and found Yahweh, but it was a fake. This is like pouring salt in that wound.

@Lightwizard,
I would disagree. I found that Star Trek: Nemesis wasn't particularly kosher especially with the nonsensical dune buggy scene.
