I have been told that on Emirates flights, upon availability is possible to buy an upgrade to business class (from economy) on board directly from the crew. it also seems to be cheaper than buying before departure. can anybody kindly help? thanks a lot.

Hi, you could do it with Thai Airways, but I am sure most flights if you ask on board they will be happy to if there are availabilities.
