@msolga,
(Don't ask about the female "trophy heads". I haven't a clue, either.)

@msolga,
Got some spare time?
Let's hop over to Munich,Germany
for some upbeat revelry on silvesternacht (new years eve).

C'mon, a little schmaltz is good for the soul...

Rocky posted this to another thread yesterday.
I liked it (including the car trip! Smile ) so I'll post it here, too:

This one by Johnny Ray was big on the radio back in '57.

Ah-h-h..the Bel-Air convertible... with music on the radio... those were the days.

Best listened to with earphones.

@neko nomad,
Was he the one who used to cry when he sang, neko? Smile

@msolga,
lol Heartache and rejection were, and still are,I suppose,
staple American pop music themes, and Johnnie could really
deliver while in his prime. His Just Walking In The Rain
had been used as a program opener by disc jockeys on rainy mornings
back in the day on FEN.

Super backup by Ray Conniff, btw.

I believe his Cry set the theme some years earlier.

A guitar instrumental from South America by the Indios Tabajaras,
a lament for their homeland.

@neko nomad,
Aw, thank you, neko.
I confess a got a wee bit of a lump in my throat, listening to that. A nice moment. Smile
From the youtube intro:
Quote:
Een meesterwerk van André Rieu en zijn mannen en vrouwen. Zoooo mooi.
Dit nummer hebben ze gespeeld tijdens hun tour in Australië. Obviously Smile

Obviously the clip from an André Rieu Australian tour ...
But I wonder what " Zoooo mooi" might mean?
(No, don't worry about searching for a translation. Just curious. Wink )
