That's exactly the problem I had. I turned it off after a lame bit where a quip about someone being treated as roughly as Michael Jackson treats his groin -- moderately funny, left at that -- was followed by a way-too-long illustration of the quip, with MJ grabbing said groin, then punching it, then getting a baseball bat and pummeling, and then grabbing a machine gun and shooting it. At length, with much blood. It was overkill (and not 'cause he's dead now) and the timing/pacing was just bad.
I'm not mature and I'm souring on the Family Guy sense of humor.
