It's the same cat - Possum-cat - he's very photogenic, and large Confused (and a poser!) But he's very shy - you seldom see him around when guests are here.

You need to load your pictures into the gallery, or some other site that allows linking, before you can post them here. There's a couple of Poss-pics there, and I uploaded some for MsOlga t'other day!

Well - Gus can go and do something un-natural Evil or Very Mad (something else un-natural!??) (again!)

We happily listen to his talk of slender loruses and capybaras - not to mention the squid!

(I told you not to mention the squid! Twisted Evil)

Margo, Laughing

I was going to suggest the topic of gay marriage to spice things up but that does not fit under the topic of "unnatural," so I won't suggest it.

(But, then, everyone has his own "unnatural." Lipstick is unnatural, perms are unnatural. You wouldn't want to see me without them. The furthest away I can get from undiluted, unglorified natural, the happier I am.)

Hello Gautam! Long time no hear from! How's the best city in the world? I am hoping to get to Australia next year if not this year. It is difficult to whittle down the long list of must-sees and keep the trip within reasonable bounds.

Cmon - this is a great, and different, place. Heaps of fun to be had.

I'm having some trouble convincing G to come and visit! The best cricket in the world over the past 10 years was here around December January, when India finally produced the game they've been promising for ages, and still he wouldn't come. And one of the world's great gay scenes!

I had to go to visit him-not too great a hardship (except on the pocket!)

According to The Oxford English Dictionary:

gay: Of a person: homosexual. Of a place: frequented by homosexuals.

slang.
1935 N. Ersine, Underworld & Prison Slang, 39 Geycat,... a homosexual boy.

1951 E. Lambert, Sleeping-House Party vii. 74 In a way it was an odd threesome. It occurred to me that Esther rather hung round our two gay boys.

1955 P. Wildeblood Against Law i. 23 Most of the officers at the station had been 'gay' ... an American euphemism for homosexual.
Ibid. iii. 105 The place [sc. a prison] is packed with gay people who are in for something else.

1963 A. Heron Towards Quaker View of Sex iii. 24 These may form the 'queer' society; these will frequent 'gay' bars.

absol.
1966 A. Firth Tall, Balding, Thirty-Five xv. 194 Would he ever dare, even if he wanted to, join the shrill freemasonry of the London gay?

1968 Globe & Mail Magazine (Toronto) 13 Jan. 6/1 A coffee shop frequented by the gay.
