Aging is an 'acumulation' of time and all things living or dead react to time in the same manner ... atrophy, or what our known senses recognize as atrophy ... withering. As an example take a block of solid gold and carve a magnificent statue of a beautiful subject. To no suprise, the excess gold lying on the floor, is three times the volume of the statue ... but one tenth the value ..... as measured by the mind.
Take a soul, a pure and simple essense of what we are, as we define. Now consider that 'withering' is a positive thing, as the fruit is worn away to release the virtue of the seed .... returning to the vine. So there is no time, only growing young and patience .... and the thoughts we leave behind.
Just felt like writing ....
