Do you still have a land line?

I do, thanks to a certain Australian Telecommunications Monoply still rolling out pair gain RIM systems, so I have no choice if I want ADSL. It also means I'm stuck on ADSL1 until FTTH comes or hell freezes over.

We have one the highest cell phone charges in the world if not the highest...we all have landlines and cell phones and I have a spare old plug in just in case the power goes down.

I consider land lines like the appendix... they served a purpose at one time but no one remembers what now.

@Bi-Polar Bear,
an appendix I have no choice but to pay $30 a month for Mad
I don't use the phone number I'm forced to have. I use a VOIP number.
It's almost enough to make one invoke Kevin Bloody Wilson.
