Tai Chi, I couldn't understand that 25 year old gal too well. I don't always understand Oriental languages, but when sung, they are beautiful.

I've known many Irish in my life and I love celtic.

Here's a funny video done in several languages

Oh, yes, and if you want to hear the beauty of the Russian language, listen to Meadowland

I like the French accent but not the Quebecois. They sound like ducks. I'm partial to the Spanish but the Mexican not so much.. There something about a slight southern drawl thats kinda sexy too when accompanied by the appropriate accoutrement. Wink
The most beautiful voice I've ever heard was an elderly black lawyer I used to serve Scotch and milk to. He had a deep voice like James Earl Jones, but it was his pronunciation, warm and measured, educated pseudo English. Like fine chocolate melting, smooth.

@CalamityJane,
Not so sure about that. I used to go to the Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof just to listen to the announcements. I often wondered if she were as gorgeous as her voice.

There was a young woman from Brazil
living down the hall from me.
I swear it was not the shape of her lips when she spoke,
I swear it was not the wine,
nor the moon;
she only had to say something simple:
"Salt"
and stars would swim.

@Joe Nation,
Very well expressed, Joe. I agree, there is something unique in Brazilian Portuguese that can be totally captivating in a woman's voice. Even amidst all the characteristic nasal dipthongs and regional accents, expressions of affection or melancholy can sweep you away. I remember one too.... 'esto cum saudades .... '

@CalamityJane,
I have to agree with the least sexy - German - it sounds harsh not sexy.

I like the Irish sound too, not sure if most sexy, but certain things that they say - like hey luv combined with the accent does kinda work for me.

I also remember dealing with a little Frenchie guy (honestly don't know if he was little just sounds good together) over the phone quite frequently. He was in our Luxembourg office. Once when talking with him, he laughed at how I said something. I made a comment about my accent being funny. He said no, it is sooo cute (in his cute accent) - his accent won me over with that comment. Now who would have thought that a Boston accent was cute?

Italian, right? That was a funny thread that you started.

Peace on you, too, and I hope you drown in it.

@Francis,
That was funny - that reminds me of this guy from Albania who was trying to learn to write/spell English - he could already speak it fairly fluently, but he had to write this essay on the subject of where he would go on holiday and he wrote-'If I could go anywhere in the world on holiday - I'd go to a bitch - and not just any bitch - I'd go to an Italian bitch,' because apparently in Albania - they spell phonetically and since he said 'bitch' instead of 'beach' that's how he spelled it.

Everytime the guy in the recording said, 'You son of a bitch' I thought of that.

I think Irish accents sound happy and that's pretty sexy usually or at least more sexy than people who sound depressed or ill-tempered.

I don't know which accent I like best - I think tone is more important than pronunciation, to my ear at least. I've often wondered if there was someone I was really, really attracted to, but then they spoke and their voice was very annoying if I'd be able to get past that. I don't know that I would.

There are different types of accents. (Aidan reminded me of that when she mentioned 'tone'.) I've been told by a speech specialist that, speaking English, I have no accent of pronunciation but that I do have a slight accent of inflection. Most people, not specialists in the field, don't notice it.
