@dyslexia,
Say it ain't so!!!!!!!!
DEAR LORD!
I think you just got phished!
I love the convenience of email.
@tsarstepan,
Call the Bank of America! NOW!
Its quite possible a fake email leading to a site that resembles the Bank of America website! This is a serious warning!
@dyslexia,
I sincerely hope your pulling my leg!
@dyslexia,
I got a warning from my bank yesterday. It said "Don't click that link".
@roger,
That's got to be the most devious phishing plot ever! Who can resist a link that says "Don't click that link" even if your anti-spyware and/or anti-virus program is the one warning you about it.
@dyslexia,
i forward all these emails and my banking information to my financial advisor in nigeria (he's promised to make me a millionaire, i millionaire i say)
@djjd62,
YES, that's exactly what I do as well.
@dyslexia,
damn, I forgot I have djjd on ignore, please ignore my response to him.
@dyslexia,
You responded to who? I'm not aware of any prior response of which you are referring....
@roger,
I suppose that I got about a dozen of similar emails, from various banks, both in the US and the the UK. Two "banks" even closed my account because I didn't answer (but I could of course re-open it at once when I'd sent the infos).
@Walter Hinteler,
All I do is forward those hideous emails to
[email protected]. Let them ferret out the bastards.
I once got an email from a 'friend' saying he was in London and his wallet and all his ID were stolen. He asked if I could wire him $2,000 to get home. The first thing I did was to call HIM. He was at home in California and had no idea his email had been compromised. He managed to take action to get things corrected.
@NickFun,
Nick, I'm stranded in Texas. I need $2,000 to get to Vegas. Can you help?
@edgarblythe,
edgar, hand me some of those $100 chips while you're waiting on Nick
I'm hoping I can count on Nick to come through for me. Without his help, I remain, currently, chipless.
@edgarblythe,
No problem Edgar! Just give me your bank account information so I can make the withdr..I mean...deposit!
