@tsarstepan,
The plane is a Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann.
The lighthouse is (unmmaned since 1988) on Bass Rock in the Firth of Forth, Scotland.

@tsarstepan,
ya know, Ive never seen a lighthouse PAINTING that was anything but sappy. The lighthouse, as an art subject, must be photographed. Thomas (Yaqckk) Kinkade did lots of lighthouse pintings

@farmerman,
Never cared for Thomas yuk Kindade paintings. He was a good promoter, and many of his prints were retouched by other 'artists' to make them look like originals. My nephew, a dentist, had lots of his paintings in his office.

@farmerman,
That photo wasn't taken to show the lighthouse but the plane (which was on a practise flight for the Scotland’s National Airshow).

@Walter Hinteler,

The airplane was constructed by a Swede - Anders Johan Anderson - who worked for Bücker in Sweden as well as in Germany.
After the war he came back to Sweden and worked for SAAB.
There he constructed the Safiren a plane which still is very populare

Großer Vogelsand lighthouse; ex ARLHS FED-007; ex-Admiralty B1340. Constructed as in the photo in 1975. Light inactive since 1999; fog horn inactive since 2004; tower demo

... was didn't work out due to various reasons.
But hee was so thrilled by the panoramic views that he began thinking about turning this form of living into a unique housing concept that could also be experienced in other places. Gradually Arne Weber, the constructor, and his team developed the idea into a practicable concept – and now the building application is ready:

I do like the elegant turn-of-the-century architecture of this lighthouse ...

... Kaiserschleuse (Kaiserhafen East Mole, aka Pingelturm in local dialect), Bremerhaven (Bremen/Germany).

The original fog bell is still active (4 strokes every 10 s) - the sound of the fog bell gave the lighthouse the local nicknames of Klingelturm or Pingelturm.

@saab,
It's actually the third time within three years that Keldsnor Lighthouse (on southern Langeland, Denmark) will get a new owner.

The light(house) is an important mark for the Kiel (and Kiel canal) approach. (The directional light [white, red or green depending on direction, occulting once every 5 s] really was very helpful in the forgotten days without GPS - normal light is two white flashes every 20 s.)

Germany's smallest but at the same time highest lighthouse is a beautiful example of German Imperial lighthouse architecture.

@Walter Hinteler,
This historic lighthouse is called Marienleuchte (Maria's Light) because it was inaugurated by the Danish Queen Maria Sophie Friederike on her birthday, 28 October 1832. Situated at Fehmarn Belt, Ohlensburgs Huk, Germany

Phare de Saint-Mathieu (Plougonvelin, Finistère, France)

The lighthouse is built in the 1830's amid the ruins of a 13th century Benedictine abbey (the monks began showing a light from the tower of the abbey in 1692).
A sémaphore topped by a modern control room that regulates ship traffic into and out of Brest is on the right in the photo above.
