On my son's spelling tests 1=8 but they're using base 12 or something.

I don't know.

3 equals 5 because Jupiter aligns with Mars and peace will guide the planet and love will rule the stars.

That's my best guess anyway.

When you have 3 fingers and someone asks you for a high 5.

But you are probably looking for the answer where the number of letters in three = 5.

can be transformed to
3*(5-3-2)=5*(5-3-2)
