Heading east on I-94 from Detroit to Kalamazoo you'll come to a Climax, but only after you pass through Hell.

Was this not the town that changed its name to the name of a game show for money?

There's an Effin in Ireland;
Lickey End over in the West Midlands (UK);
Wet Beaver Creek in Australia;
Twatt up in Orkney
and Sexmoan in the Philippines.

Nevada has some great ones ... there's Gouge Eye Well, Jackass Flats, Burnt Cabin, Busted Butte, Cow Camp, Dead Horse Cayon, Deadman Spring, and Dead Dog Mountain, just to name a few. The Gold Country place names throughout California, Nevada, and Colorado are full of hoots.

Scunthorpe
Scunthorpe ... filtering. look at letters 2,3,4, and 5.

I wonder if Sussex, Wessex, and Middlesex counties have had any problems like this?
