I am a young woman looking to design my own clothing and opening a business. I noticed employers frown upon people who major in fashion/retail. How do i go about schooling to obtain degrees that have open doors to other work if my plans dont go correctly? As well as being able to accomplish this goal i have.

You can always get a double major. Something like Business Administration could be an option.

go to business school and learn all the new technology. a good secretary can work her way up. or get a hairdresser's liscence, you['ll never be out of work. always have something to fall back on.,

Merchandising, advertising, tailoring (sewing)

Work in a custom clothing shop to learn all about vendors, pricing, etc.
