This message has suddenly started popping up a lot of the time as I navigate A2k:

"Internet Explorer.

Problems with this web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly.

Details: Line 1217
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: http://www.able2know.com/forums/viewtopic:php?t=9127&start=570"

(I assume the url changes!)

Now - I have just downloaded the very newest Windows updates - so I am wondering if it has made my computer hyper-anal - or if something is going on. It is not all pages - I am wondering if some of the ads might be doing it?

Not a problem that needs any help really - the pages seem to work fine - just thought it might mean a problem somewhere,

Actually, I have no idea. But you get connected to A2K, anyway.

(And some guru might tell you the reason very soon, I hope.)

You mistyped the URL and the error page redirects to the registration page.

As to the error turn off JavaScript error reporting. Object expected just means a component hasn;t downloaded in this case bust should cause no display problems.

I assume you are using IE but if you'd include browser info I'd be able to tell you what to do.

Go into Advanced and uncheck "notify of every script error"?

Yes. You can still see if there is an error on the lower left corner, the little IE icon changes to a script error icon. If you double click it it will tell you the error.

Please let me know if the pages consistently give you an error.

Parse error: parse error in /home/a2kname/public_html/forums/cache/Able2Know/overall_header.php on line 100

I've just started getting these in the last 10 or so minutes.
