There is a cute story behind the "Sayonara" song... It was cherry blossom when the song was to be picturised and inital outfit (kimono) that asha parekh wore was blue.

One of the passer-by on the location of the shooting, was a Japanese lady who saw asha parekh in the blue kimono and nearly lashed out on the director for having a wrong dress color code for the season. According to her it should have been red, purple, pink or white.

So the director hurriedly changed the kimono for a white pink one. I think we owe to that unknown passer by for all the sweetness harnessed by Asha in the song in that utterly cute white pink kimono.

Wouldn't want this site closed as I log on to hear the music myself not so much to post. I posted only because of GWB as I was really afraid of him becoming president. Despite all my efforts he became president and look what a mess he created.
