I'd rather have the chicken now rather than the egg later.

Now that the Colonel is grilling his chicken, I feel even stronger about that.

Egg.

Dinosaurs laid eggs.

Chickens later evolved from dinosaurs.

They laid eggs too.

But there were eggs before there were chickens.
