The newborn, young, and very small sharks could fall prey to any number of large predatory animals.

A group of scientists were recently asked what type of test subjects they were using for their experiments. They said they were using Lawyers and Rats. When asked "why do you need to use lawyers?", they said, "because there are some things a Rat simply won't do."

AS of recently, orcas have been killing sharks in large numbers and only eating the shark's livers.

Pods of dolphins also have been known to gang up on sharks but these slaughterous actions don't seem for feeding purposes. Or shall I say... feeding porpoises?
