Good one farmerman ! Smile

In my opinion, no. But it did create a powerful imagery to help fill collection plates. The God I know doesn't require anything. How could one little death symbolically provide salvation to everyone? Its a metaphor that was created to demonstrate an idea.

@sept24sue,
Heb 9:22-Yes, almost all things are cleansed with blood according to the law, and if the blood is not shed no place no forgiveness.
Heb 10:16,17- " 'This is the covenant that will conclude with them after those days,' says Jehovah. 'I will put my laws into their hearts and write in their minds,' "[said afterwards:]" It is absolutely not recalled more of their sins and their works illegal.
Because" according Deu19:21- is soul for soul, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot"we need a perfect person to gain back what Adam lost in Eden Garden.You need a bible study .
