You know that little indestructible black box that is used on planes? Why can't they make the whole plane out of the same substance?

1. Weight. Steel weighs a lot more than aluminum.
2. It's a lot easier to protect a small package of electronics than it is to protect the human body.
3. They aren't really indestructible.
