Update: No real change. Brooklyn's daddy still hasn't woken up... but he's still here. Hoping he just needs the rest to heal.

Thanks again to everyone who's contributing their prayers, posi-vibes and loving thoughts. You are all very kind.

@OCCOM BILL,
Thanks Bill, ofcourse we keep on praying and sending vibes, the fact is he is still with us which means a lot after the initial assessment.

@OCCOM BILL,
Posi vibes?

I intensely wish Brooke's father recovers.
I'll go further, that if he doesn't, he has a peaceful death, for him, none of us but himself.

@ossobuco,
Not meant to close people out, but he is the person dealing with it. I wish him peace, and, of course, recovery.

I haven't been on A2K for a few days, so I'm just now catching up. So very sorry to hear this. Please let Brooke know that she and her Daddy are both in my prayers.

Update: No change. Brooklyn did lay down for a spell last night, and a nurse gave her a blanket and pillow. She must have been completely exhausted, because she slept for 11 hours! (This is a girl who usually gets by on less than 5)

She sends her heartfelt thanks and love to you all. Please keep praying.

Update: Brooklyn's daddy opened his eyes a couple of times today, which of course made her heart sing, but she was cautioned not to read too much into it. "They said it was an involuntary reaction," but she wants to believe "he was wanting to see Momma... his angel."

I like her answer better, of course, and will be hoping it was at least something in between. Someone said earlier "where there's life, there's hope" and there is life... and so very much to live for.

@OCCOM BILL,
Yes Bill I uttered those words and I'll stick with them, never give up hope if there is life. My brother in law followed a similar path and he is still with us today, two years later, and doing well. Hope Brooklyn is keeping well under the circumstances. (((Brooklyn)))
