Hi,
A friend of mine has been losing hair a lot lately, and he says that it is because some amount of lead is used in the water purification process, and this lead content promotes hair loss. I am not sure if that is true, since i have not been having any hair loss problems. But i would like to know if there is any truth in his reasoning. Any ideas?
I still have a full mane. I guess I must be lead free.
Any amount of lead in water is bad.
Use a Multi-Pure drinking water filter.
@H2O MAN,
It's been almost 2 months since he asked this question H2O man. He's already bald.

Let's hope he's still alive.
@webknight18,
You should tell your friend to visit a professional doctor.
@webknight18,
Lead promotes hair loss. It is responsible for hair thinning.
@webknight18,
That's why always drink lead-free water.
@simrangoyal1,
But, how do you know it's lead free?
@webknight18,
Lead poisoning, among many other things, can also cause hair loss. Water traveling from old lead pipes to the shower head may be a prescription for hair loss. Zinc is also a contributor. ... There are also literally ways to poison your hair: traces of arsenic and thallium in water can also cause hair to fall out.
