how do i manually backwash a rainsoft softner?

I have a model# 30195, serial# 606616 rainsoft softner and need to manually back wash it. Any help would be appreiated.

model number and ser number only helps if you're calling the factory for help. Age and what type of head will let us help you. Does it have dials? Keyboard? color of the tank and control box?
