Can someone help me? My husband and I want this phrase engraved in Latin inside our wedding rings:

"Every day
You are my true companion
Like the sun."

Thanks!

@theRiverGirl,
Cottidie
Comes verus es
Sicut sol

Note that the word "verus" should be on the wife's ring since it is
the masculine form and describes the husband. The word "vera" should
replace "verus" on the husband's ring since it is the feminine form
and describes the wife.

Since this is for an inscription, please have someone else review
it. I am not a professional Latin scholar, just a guy who does this
for fun.

@George,
George -
I appreciate your translation and your note about masculine/feminine forms. It's a big deal to have something to work with - at least I know the inscription will fit. Smile Thank you!
