I'm Feeling Flu-ish. Could someone rub my feet, please?

Thought I'd missed picking up what cub had last week, but it must have been incubating. I've had a tickle in my throat for a few days that resulted in an irritating, non productive cough. Now I'm feeling tired, and starting to feel achey.. achie.. whatever... I ache.

I made some green tea.

When you are sick, how do you like to be comforted?

If your nose gets dry, I can loan you my jar of Vaseline, nonetheless shewolfn has advised me that olive oil is better than Vaseline, so I could loan you some of that instead.

I figure that nasal irrigation may be the ultimate response, however you need to bend over the sink http://able2know.org/topic/128366-1

I am going through this right now.

When I get that cough, only narcotic cough syrup works (otherwise I suffer for months).

After that I like get into sweats, drink herbal tea, and watch Lou Dobbs.

Lou Dobbs seems a tad strident recently, perhaps this is exacerbating your flu symptoms.

BBB - I get to hear his new gadget a lot. It is very cool.

Djjd - I'll set 'em up... You knock 'em down. Smile

ebrown - Sweats, tea and Dobbs. I could go with that while someone rubs my feet.

(fond memories of narcotic cough medicine when it could still be had over the counter.)

I know I'll feel better next week. I was just wondering how others like to be treated when sick.

You sound like you are either sick or drunk, dlowan. Either way... you are out of character

@gustavratzenhofer,
(Coughs towards Gus)

Ahh, poor bunny. I hope this doesn't last that long. I can't rest as far as being in bed other than tomorrow. Luckily, my job isn't real taxing. The sofa by the fireplace (with satellite tv facing it) in the clubhouse great room is calling to me, though. I think I'm starting to run a low grade fever.

(turns to cough towards Gus again)

Wish I was there to bring you lemon and honey tea.

gus, a foot massage isn't like eatin' her out or anything. Not even in the same ball park.

I mean, you give your mother a foot massage.

You people can not even begin to realize the amount of times I have had women disrobe to the earthy sounds of Barry Manilow

@gustavratzenhofer,
I had a mare once that would whinny and throw her backside against the stall wall over and over again when in heat. If she wasn't in her stall, anything else she was next to got the same treatment.

Not that I'm gonna throw myself at you Gus. It takes a bit more than Barry Manilow for a sick old broodmare.
