I hate most of what Bush has done in office. Despite that, if I had the opportunity to attend a speech by the man, I'd jump at it.

From what I heard, Bush's people thought the crowd would be very large, so they discouraged the press from sending multiple reporters from the same outlet. In the end, the room was only half full and interns had to round out the crowd.
