Do you double click the buttons? When it asks if you want to go back to the forum, do you do anything different or odd?

I don't double click the buttons. I never press how to go back to the forum. I've been using Post Reply for a few hours, no doubles showing up since. I have a teeny tiny memory of Phoenix saying a long time ago that it was related to that, could remember wrong, of course.

Well, geez, I hope I don't double click the buttons. Sigh.

Now I don't trust myself. But I post a lot, rather automatically, and have not noticed a difference re the results.

Supply of question marks - ????????????

Osso- What is it I was supposed to have said? Anyhoo, if it refers to double postings, here's the deal. Every once in awhile, if the A2K server is slow, or even if your ISP is slow, you will click "submit" to post a response or thread. It does not seem that anything is happening, so you click again. But the hamsters were playing with you.

What is happening is that your submit really "took", but you didn't know it. The hamsters really had everything under control. Soooooooo, if your little clicking finger hit the submit button a few times, you are rewarded by a double helping of your verbal gems.

The lesson to be learned from this: Trust the hamsters. They know more about these things than we do! Laughing

I think that hamster theories don't warrant question marks, don't you?

Thanks, Phoenix, I knew it was you, didn't I? I remembered that part about slow a2k or server. But I swear I don't click after an impression of the first click not taking...

And I've double checked, I don't click submit twice fast the first time...

I'm trying to train myself to use Post Reply, which I haven't seen it happen on, but of course that may be circumstance, since I don't usually use it.
