Nah mate it's you JW's and other cultists who make Jesus a laughing stock, I bet Satan luvs you to bits..Smile
For example according to JW's, Christmas, Easter, birthdays and church spires are pagan, crosses are banned, Jesus was crucified on a pole, and you're supposed to die rather than have a transfusion..Smile

Incidentally why don't you say in your profile that you're a JW?
People might think you're afraid to admit it..Wink

@Romeo Fabulini,
We all know that Christmas is not Jesus' birthday, and that the decorating that one does at Christmas were done by non-christian religions long before Christianity. Research it..

Also Easter is the celebration of fertility and the return of life, which is why the rabbits and eggs etc. Also there is nothing christian about Halloween other than those that come to the door are dressed as witches, goblins, and such, are christian children; and their adults like to dress up the same way and attend parties.

White dresses and rings were done by pagan religions long before Christ.
Christianity, or more accurately the Roman Church, adopted some of the pagan rituals, or retained some when adopting Christianity, which are still being practiced today. So the question is.....how Christian are they, really.
How Christian is Christianity today...really.

@Enaj,
While it's true that Christianity has adopted pagan symbols and festivals eg Christmas, the other two monotheist religion have done the same thing. The qaaba was a pagan temple for instance. Also, I fail to see the theological importance of Easter bunnies.

@Olivier5,
The hare was the servant of the goddess Eostre.

His short tail is a reminder of what happens if you ignore the divine. That's a message the Church likes to preach, eternal damnation and all that.

@Romeo Fabulini,
John 13:1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 20:7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

Neither of those verses say what you posted them as saying.

@neologist,
No. I can agree or disagree with an opinion based on my own, subjective, ideas. It doesn't matter who the author is.

BTW, you didn't notice that about me? Mr. Green Cool Cool
