@Mr Stillwater,
I remember liking one like that Stilly, minus the soda.

Take a rock glass, fill with ice, white rum, four or five generous slices of juicy lime.

Ice cold.

First sips a tad boozy. The remainder is...delicious.

Glass of ice.
Add a shot of water.
Fill with Chevis Regal or Johnnie Walker scotch.

i tried to offer that to an old scot some years ago - he was an actuary of the "old" (scottish) school . he glared at me : "too much bloody water in it already ! " -
i got the message : NEAT !
hbg

I should have clarified that the shot of water was optional. Wink

I just invented a vodka orange creamsicle tonight out on a whim:
One cup nonfat vanilla yogurt, two fingers worth of vodka, and fill the remainder of the glass with orange juice.

I used a typical size glass beer mug.

If a drink without gin or vermouth can be termed a "martini," then we have failed as a society.

A bottle of beer (doesn't matter what brand, at least I think it doesn't matter), strawberry-flavoured Kool Aid, crushed ice. Then you just blend them! Very Happy
