Always effing asking when you get paid.
following u around when they know you got paid.
asking for money.
always trying to use some sort of leverage , they drove u to the store once or someshi.
alawys in your business,begging mooching and spreading rumors?
i get off work today, i bought a naked juice and a lil pizza,
cook it and now i got 5 people bother ing me, 2 in person.
jesus good good christ im sick of this..
"wheres my pizza?"
"why didnt u but me a pizza"
"i gave u a ride that one day"
" u got any change i can borrow, no? can i borrow 5 bucks then?"
*ring* "hey bobby, what u up to, can i borrow money"
" bobby i need some money for gas, and we might have our power cut off"
...
jesus, the really bad one has been a cook for 15 years, and he cant find work in las vegas. for like 5 months and we are pretty much supporting him.
@OGIONIK,
omfg i hit post, and not even a second later my damn phone rings
of course "MY" payday gets brought up.
I used to have one family member that would constantly be in need of funds. After about twenty "No's" she reduced her requests to bi-monthly and now maybe twice a year. She continues to get the same answer.
Stand up for yourself and tell 'em to get a job. You aren't their Mama. Seriously, tell them your payday has NOTHING to do with them and stick to it. If you don't stick to it, you can't complain.
@squinney,
i absolutely dont loan money out unless its someone trust like my dad or my mom, but none of my peers, friends, or family not even my grahma, she will borrow money from me then loan it to one or her useless POS siblings.
bleh, its annoying they dont stop asking...
but i guess its true, words of free and if u can get stuff with em u might as well try alot.
@OGIONIK,
its like noone has respect anymore these days, ill never understand.
i only ask for money if i really need it.. ive really never borrowed money excpet for a few bus passes..
*sigh*
people scare me sometimes..
@OGIONIK,
I don't (and am glad for it).
It's no ones business what you make or how you spend your money.
And you should tell them so.
Helping out a family member in need is one thing. Being a walking ATM is another.
Thankfully, I don't have any moochers in my family but my hubby's ex-wife drives her kids crazy, hitting them up all the time and even out-and-out lying about her circumstances, running scams on them. One feels guilty and gives in, the other doesn't and of course, that causes problems between the siblings. Sometimes the vibe between them is absolutely screwy, and very sad, all because of their mother.
