What the heck is this A2K error message?

I've been trying to post to my "middle class" thread and when I hit reply I get a page of strangeness. This is the first block of a huge long page of text:

@boomerang,
Looks like a database lookup gone bad to me. Did you try again? And if so, did it work the second time?

Yes, I tried the same post two or three times then tried posting "test" and they all returned with the same message.

@boomerang,
I get that a lot.

It's insider hamsterspeak, but you gotta have a decoder ring...

Refresh, and it goes away.

(bootleg rings available...)

@boomerang,
Hm ... either way, I have to capitulate. I don't know much about SQL.

@Rockhead,
I tried "refresh" and it didn't do anything. When I went to "my posts" and looked up the thread it had not recorded the response.

Yep, it's SQL, possibly a violation of a unique key requirement (this has nothing to do with posting).

I just tried posting "This is a test" and the same thing happened.

Would someone else see what happens when you post to the thread?

@boomerang,
This all relates back to the time you killed the hamster, I'm afraid!

They have very long memories. You can expect intermittent problems for at least the next 10 years. Your card is marked, so to speak!

Yup, as soon as I glanced at that page, the error leapt out at me. It's in line 21, but I ain't tellin' where.

@boomerang,
Nothing. The hamsters just don't like to work for you. So they sabotaged your post.

@boomerang,
Set was having a bunch of troubles with a similar looking message just a bit back. He's taking a break for a few minutes. The air was blue.

@ehBeth,
If anyone runs into it, please send the topic id to us (through help desk is the best place to report bugs and errors). There's a bug we are working on fixing where the reply count gets out of sync and new replies throw errors, in the mean time it needs to be fixed manually so send us the topic ids and we'll fix them as we can.
